Dear Don,

Your letter came yesterday and in a way I was dissappointed [sic] for I had been looking for you instead of a letter.

I am having Harold wire Leone today to see why she doesn't write. I am so uneasy I can't wait for a letter.

Yes the flu is just awful here. We have been inoculated but I have my doubts as to whether it will prevent it.

Don did you know that Joe Eldridge died at Madison Wis. of the pneumonia? I read in the Globe that Mrs. Broadie had gone to his funeral.

I think House's have enuf money to live on but not in a very luxurious manner.

Will Henry will finish the year at Minnesota.

I think it is too bad that you have to stay down there now but I guess it can't be helped.

Mr. Clark has been sick in Minneapolis for over two weeks. He was operated on and it has proven much more serious than they tho't.

Carrie's sister older than she is dead of the pneumonia. I felt so sorry for Carrie. It was all so sudden.

Here's hoping you'll be home soon.
