Dear Don,
Nothing to do and nothing to say. Dr. says we can move about a bit today but I don't want to get heated up, cause chances for taking a bath are too slim. No one to give it to us and we have to wait until we are well.
My sickness got a rise out of Ruth and she sent me the things I sent and also a letter.
She said Dad gave Bob & Betty each $50 W.S.S. for Xmas. Ain't it grand? Guess its up to us to have a few kids to make a raise out of him. I'm surprised he'd send me a telegram, generous isn't Mable?
