Dear Don,

While Pinkie is flying around getting dinner I'll start a line to you. I’ve been the worst crab all day - feel like a teacher 500 years on the job. I sure have been giving the kids particular H. today.

Sat in conference with J.E. until my nerves were quite unstrung. Gosh he meanies me.

Pay day next week and Edythe and I are going to blow. This down is too slow for a couple of speeds like us’ns.

Edythe has a friend over at Virginia who is a dentist and perchance he may want trade. We thot we’d go over and have a couple of teeth a piece extracted.

Gosh if it weren't for Edith up here I’d simply resign to-morrow. I don't see what I did last year. We are together all the time and at a dance we trip the light fantastic with one and each only. She's a good dancer and I mange to keep the tops of her shoes pretty well scuffed-up. I sure wish we could room together for her roommate and mine are always together but luck seems agin us.

My I’m hungry. I wish that the gang would gather for I feel empty all over.

That sure was a joke on me sending you the stamps. Whenever I buy envelopes and stamps I always stick the stamps in one of the envelopes and that was an accident right. However I’m glad that you drew them instead of somebody else. I'll expect a bunch of letters now. I don't need them. Pay day Friday!

Don't worry about me and money. That's what we are made of don’t cher know?

Edyth is now rushing on the food but every once in a while I make her stop and draw a picture. Pinkie always calls me Leoni (long i) as you see.

I forgot all about enclosing Harolds letter but I'll do so in this if I don't forget. I'm glad my letters come in handy. I'm like you. I could write volumes if I had anything to write about. Will also include a letter I got from Mary Ketcham. It may be that these letters I get may be of interest and I read them & tear them up.

Much love,
Leone.

P.S. No insurance certificate came but you should worry about that. No one will ever need that.
