Dear Don,
Nothing to do and nothign to say. Dr. says we can move about a bit today but I dont' want to get heated up, cause chances for takinga bath are too slim. No one to give it to us and we have to wait until we are well.
My sickness got a rise out of Ruth and she sent me the things I sent and also a letter.
She said Dad gave Bob & Betty each $50 W.W.S. for Xmas. Ain't it grand? Guess its up to us to ahve a few kids to make a raise out of him. I'm surprised he'd send me a telegram, generous isn't Mable? I've only written him once or twice since last Sept. I dropped him a card and told him I had the flu, but I toldhim I expeted to be teaching next week so he wouldn't have heart fialure for fear I wanted money. I really don't expect to teach until the last of next week or the following for I don't want a relapse. If I should have one, I [rayu it will maek short owrk of me.
The Dr. said I could get up now that my temp, has been normal for 2 or 3 days and I told him I hadn't been over 99. He luaghed and afterewards the filds told me I was between 101 & 102 but they had told me 99.
Miss Gretschmann, the sweing teacher is teaching my classes. I guess seh'll be glad when I get back cuase she's not very keen about doing it.
The teacher who is so sick has a special nurse now and her two sisters came.
One of the girls is going for a wlk so must close.
Write often.
Much love, Leone.
